Ireland’s most beautiful opera festival is held in the beautiful surroundings of Lismore castle, and historic houses along the Blackwater river in Co. Waterford.   Schools’ night opera performances on 28th May: Don Pasquale in Lismore Castle, and 31st May: Masterpiece Series of Recitals with free pizzas for schoolchildren in Dromore Yard, are now full (waiting list in event of cancellations).

Family-friendly events take place on Thurs 30th May at 12pm with Arias From Our Favourite Operas in  Villierstown Church, adults €20-30 concessions.  Sat 1st June at 12pm: Masterpiece Series of Recitals in St Carthages Cathedral, Lismore. 2018 RDS Music Bursary Winner Killian White on cello, accompanied by Maire Carroll on piano. Tickets €10-20 concessions. Kids under 12 go free. (All children must be accompanied by an adult). Finally, on Sun 2nd June at 3pm: Simon Harden Organ Masterpiece Series of Recitals, with Dearbhla Nolan on trumpet – in St Carthage’s Catholic church. Tickets €10-20 concessions.
