Designer Minds Summer Camps 2024

Get ready for a summer filled with fun and learning with our Designer Minds Summer Camps! This July and August, we’re bringing our exciting Science, Design, Technology, and Art camps to over 90 locations across the country.

Whether your child loves experimenting with science, coding robots, unleashing their creativity through art, or all of the above, we’ve got the perfect camp for them.

At our Science, Design, and Technology Camps, kids will spend a week immersed in activities that fuel their curiosity and passion for learning. They'll get hands-on with science experiments, coding, LEGO, and so much more. It’s a place where kids can find new friends who share their enthusiasm for creating and exploring, all in a supportive and fun environment.

And for the budding artists out there, our Art Summer Camp is a dream come true! Kids will dive into a week of artistic exploration, trying their hands at painting, drawing, digital design, and even upcycling. Our Art Camps are all about the enjoyment of making and creating, not on completing the perfect final masterpiece. It’s a fantastic way for them to express themselves, meet new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We welcome all boys and girls entering 1st Class to 6th Class to join us for a week of unforgettable fun and educational activities.

Our friendly and fully garda-vetted leaders will ensure your child has the ultimate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths) or ART CAMP experience. And remember, Designer Minds is the only camp in Ireland that covers every aspect of STEAM, making it a unique opportunity for your child to learn and grow.

What our Summer 2023 parents had to say about our STEAM and Art Camps:

“My son did 6 different camps this summer and this was his favourite by far!”

Susan, Dollymount

“My son & daughter absolutely loved the week. They were exposed to a whole new world of electrics/electronics, engineering, art, animation & lots more. They were so full of chat & detail coming home each evening. I can't praise the camp or the facilitators enough. To be honest, I would have loved to have participated myself!”

Deirdre, Limerick

“Absolutely blown away by this camp and the teachers. The subject matter was always really child centric and interesting. Teachers were engaging and encouraging at all times. My child adored it from start to finish!”

Zoe, Sandymount

“STEAM Camp was great fun for my 8 year old daughter. Camp allows kids to be themselves, make friends, learn and have a fun in safe environment. My daughter’s experience at camp had an incredible impact on her self-confidence and willingness to be herself.”

Lucija, Carrigaline

“My kids aren't normally fans of summer camps but this one was a bit hit! Lots of activities and use of technology, very enjoyable for them.”

Jenny, Drogheda

“These are great camps for smaller numbers as participants get more 1:1 time with their instructors/leaders. My child got the opportunity to work closely on projects and problem solve with other children they never met before.  Great experience for future life, and lots of fun!”

Sabrina, Kildare

“My son adored the Art Camp and said it was “the best camp ever!!!!”. His teachers were great and really encouraging. He can’t wait for next year.”

Aine, Castleknock

“Eliza has attended many Art Camps over the years and she can honestly say that this camp was the best. The teachers were friendly, encouraging and helpful whilst allowing her to express her own creativity. The class was interactive and the use of materials was vast.”

Eileen, Athlone

“The Art camp was fantastic! My son was worried before starting that it was “just for girls” but came out every day beaming! He absolutely loved it from the painting to Minecraft to designing his own tshirt. I would highly recommend and my son is asking when he can go back!”

Chloe, Ballincollig
