100% of the proceeds of the Twilight Walk at Fota on the 28th June are donated to the national children’s charity organisation – BUMBLEance

Today Fota Wildlife Park director, Sean McKeown presented a cheque for over €6900, the proceeds from the Twilight Walk to BUMBLEance ‘Queen Bee’ Hannah Morrissey, aged 9, from Midleton, Co Cork.  The funds were raised at the Twilight Walk held on the 28th of June through the iconic Wildlife Park to help raise money in support of BUMBLEance the Children’s National Ambulance Service.

Speaking at the presentation of the cheque today, Sean McKeown, director of Fota Wildlife Park said “As a charity organisation ourselves we understand the challenges that funding presents and we were genuinely thrilled to have been able to offer the Wildlife Park to BUMBLEance on the 28th of June for their twilight walk – which turned out to be a magical evening. The Park was staffed by volunteers who gave their time up freely on the night, which meant we could donate all the monies raised to this wonderful children’s charity.”
